The Agafay desert, at the end of the road.
Agafay is a stone desert on the doorstep of Marrakech. You explore it by buggy, by quad or on a camel. Activities are extra: book them with us by the day before at the latest.
Polaris buggy
The Agafay tracks in a two-seater Polaris RZR. Departs from the residence. To drive: aged 18+ with a driving licence. Children can ride as passengers from age 4.
Quad
A ride on the tracks of the Agafay desert. Departs from the residence. From age 15-16 depending on build, after a test on site.
Camel
Slow down and watch the sun set over the desert. From age 6. Departs in the desert, 10 minutes' drive away: you get there in your own vehicle. No vehicle? We can help you get there: just ask.

Before you book
Your questions, our answers.
How do I book?
Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and the number of guests. We reply with the available villas and the price. A 50% deposit confirms the booking, and the balance is due one month before arrival. A €300 security deposit in cash is requested on arrival and returned when you leave.
What is the minimum stay?
2 nights minimum in the villas. From 20 December to 3 January, it's 3 nights minimum.
What are the house rules?
No parties. Smoking outside only. Pets are allowed on request and stay outdoors. We ask for ID for each guest.
We arrive late in the evening. Is that OK?
Yes. Check-in is from 3 pm, then at any hour: a guard is on site 24/7. Check-out is before 11 am.
There are more of us. Is that possible?
Yes. Each villa sleeps 2 more guests on extra beds, at an extra charge per person per night.
Can you pick us up at the airport?
Yes, on request. It's from €50 return for up to 4 people, price on request beyond that. The airport is 18 km away, about 20 minutes. We can also offer you a rental car. Just tell us when you book.
Where is the residence?
14 km from the last district of Marrakech and 18 km from the airport (20 minutes). Jemaa el-Fna square is 25-30 km away, about 40 minutes.
Is the pool heated?
Each villa has its own private pool. Heating is an option at KasbahWay, KosyWay and Kosy Family: €40 per day, paid on site, for water at 28-30 °C. Let us know at least 3 days in advance. KasbahWay also has a hammam, at €20 per half-day.
Wifi, TV, air con, cleaning?
Yes, Starlink wifi, very high speed. The TVs are smart TVs. The air conditioning does hot and cold, in every villa. Cleaning during your stay is available on request.
Can we eat on site?
Breakfast is included: let us know the day before. At extra cost: the residence restaurant, open every day (book 2 to 3 hours ahead, everything is cooked to order), or a cook at your villa, €40 per day paid on site (groceries extra). The Moroccan dinner is served in a bivouac in the desert: it's an activity at an extra cost, to book with us.
What activities can we do?
Polaris buggy, quad and camel rides in the Agafay desert, with Adventureway Morocco, at an extra cost. Book with us the day before at the latest. To drive the buggy: aged 18+ with a driving licence; children can ride as passengers from age 4. Quad: from age 15-16 depending on build, after a test on site. Camel: from age 6, departing in the desert, 10 minutes' drive away. For enthusiasts: off-road trips in the Atlas, the Deep South or along the Atlantic coast, price on request.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. The residence is secure and has a playground, and every villa has a baby cot. Kosy Family was designed for families. The pools have no fence or alarm: the sliding glass doors lock from the inside, and an adult must always keep an eye on children near the water.
